Hello, all! Today feels like a good day. Not for any particular reason, except that I feel that I'm finally getting over a cold I've had since Sunday. I usually don't get sick and this is the second time this year! I should take some more Vitamin C or something. Anyway, I've just wanted to hang around in my PJ's all week but now that I feel better, I'm going all out girlie to celebrate. No Plain Jane here! By the way, did you do something different with your hair today? You look great! ;)

I went looking for things that were just down right pretty. Nothing frilly or extravagant. Just simple and beautiful. The Hundred Year Old Olive Tree Lariat necklace by Jeweled Blossoms definitely fit the bill. It comes with a lovely story, too. Something about the leaves and the feeling of fall... I'm smitten! I'm thinking of getting this Peony 2 print by Alicia Block for my room in the new apartment. It's so romantic and the tones are beautiful, don't you think? And while I was stopping in to check out what's new, I came across this lavender pink striped scarf in morelle's shop. It's so feminine and looks so soft. I think you could just put it on over a t-shirt and jeans and feel pretty. And I like that.

I also bought myself some fabric from Leslie's shop. I had been thinking it over and decided it'd be a great accent in my room. Can one ever tire of grey tufts? I think not! I'm not exactly sure what I'll use it for, yet.
