sitting pretty
Published by Kathryn on May 14, 2008
Well I just couldn't resist taking a few photos of these little beauties over the weekend. Julie and I stopped in at one of our local garden centres to choose some flowers in honour of mother's day. And I must say it was very difficult deciding between all the lovely colours and types. Here are some more pretty ladies...
I've never really had much of a green thumb, but my mom loves nature and always plants flowers and vegetables each year. Seeing all of the lush, brightly coloured flowers made me want to be a better gardener...or at least have one plant survive a season. And what could be better inspiration than fun planters?!

I think these Campy Planters by Perch! (available from Velocity Art and Design) are so cute! And how great would they be for a herb garden? I am loving all the soft tones that won't compete with the plants or flowers growing from them.
And speaking of glorious colours and flowers, have you all seen what Sarah has been up to? Check out dESiGNalogue to see the great colour she's been printing with, and be sure to check her shop next week for an exciting update!
Have a great day!
